Patterns from circles folded and coloured

Single Fold Pattern

Take six paper circles and for each fold an edge to the centre.

Open and colour the flap.

Then refold so the coloured flap is on top.

Combine the folded circles. Join corner to corner and place the edge of the second circle so it is lying on the centre of the first. Glue in place.

Add more folded circles to create a complete hexagon.

Tuck the last two circles under the first.

Combine hexagons to give a pattern of spinning stars.
