7 piece Tangram
This is the traditional form of the Tangram and can be made from a standard matchbox.
First cut along one edge and open out the matchbox to give a rectangle (sides in the ratio 1:2)

Using the creases from the original edges mark in the
diagonals of the two squares as shown and add lines AB and BD. 
Next cut along the lines as shown by the red lines in this diagram.
This creates 7 pieces

A square,
2 small right angled triangles,
2 larger right angled triangles,
1 large right angled triangle,
and a parallelogram.
With seven pieces make these shapes
