Patterns from Circles cut from coloured Paper

Flower Tessellation

You will need lots of circles cut from three different colours.

Find the centres and fold the edge in twice to the centre to make shapes like these.

Then slide pairs together to make rhombi.

Carefully combine colours to make three rhombi. Note how the colours slide inside each other to make rhombi.

Combine the rhombi to make a hexagon.

Combine the hexagons to make A FLOWER TESSELLATION.
